At a time when Louisiana is looking for leaders who have demonstrated a hard work ethic and a common sense approach to solving problems, Brian McNabb can answer the call to move our community and state forward.

Brian is a native of Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge. He is a graduate of Christian Life Academy High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University. McNabb has devoted his career to public service and doing the work of the people. His keen interest in public service began during his tenure at Louisiana State University. While at LSU, McNabb was involved in a number of student government activities as well as having the opportunity to write a weekly column for the LSU student newspaper, The Daily Reveille. Quite often Brian would use the column as a way to promote his conservative viewpoints as well as to provide a proactive vision for Baton Rouge. He also served a summer internship in the Congressional office of Representative Richard H. Baker (R-LA).

In 2004, Brian was named Political Director of the Republican Party of Louisiana. During this monumental election cycle for the GOP, President George W. Bush carried the state of Louisiana with an overwhelming 57% of the vote, David Vitter became the first Republican since Reconstruction to be elected to the United States Senate, and five of the seven Louisiana Congressional seats were claimed by GOP members. During his tenure at the state party, Brian demonstrated his leadership by bringing individuals together to work toward achievable and attainable goals for the common cause.

McNabb with EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson
Following his many successes in Louisiana, McNabb received an appointment in the Administration of George W. Bush where he served as a top aide at the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. As Special Assistant and Personal Aide to Stephen L. Johnson, the 11th Administrator of the EPA and a member of the President’s Cabinet, McNabb directed the day-to-day operations of the Administrator’s office, and regularly communicated with White House officials, members of Congress, Governors and other state and local officials.

As the next District 69 Representative to the Louisiana House of Representatives, the experiences and dedication of Brian McNabb will bring a new vision and inspiration to our state’s present and future generations.
